Precision calibration, circuit-level repair & certification
Expert level — critical equipment and metrology requirements
Level N3 is reserved for the most demanding equipment: test and measurement instruments, high-end telecom equipment, devices subject to strict calibration requirements. It combines circuit-level repair, metrological calibration and documented final certification.
Objective
Industrial precision all the way to certification
N3 is Sopixcon's most advanced level of intervention. It is for equipment whose fault goes beyond simple component replacement and requires direct work on the tracks and printed circuit board, together with full metrological recalibration, backed by traceable certification in line with industrial standards (IPC, IEC, JEDEC depending on the equipment).
Process steps
A 5-step protocol
Circuit-level analysis
In-depth study of tracks, discrete components and interconnections to locate faults that cannot be detected at component level alone.
Printed circuit board repair
Track rebuilding, repair of cut or oxidised tracks, precision micro-soldering under the microscope to restore the circuit's electrical integrity.
Precision calibration
Adjusting the equipment to the manufacturer's specifications using calibrated reference instruments, to guarantee the expected measurement accuracy or performance.
Compliance testing against standards
Verification against applicable standards (JEDEC, IPC, IEC 61340 depending on the type of equipment) and a multi-point final check.
Final certification
Issue of a certificate of conformity and a traceable calibration report, supplied with the refurbished equipment.
Typical use cases
Test & measurement equipment
Equipment requiring certified metrological accuracy.
Critical equipment
Equipment whose failure directly affects operations or safety.
High-end telecom
Equipment requiring strict compliance with industrial standards.
