Entry level — fast, reliable return to service
Level N1 is for equipment in good overall condition that needs a standard upgrade before redeployment or resale: dust removal, full functional check and software update, with the same traceability requirements as the higher levels.
Objective
Ensuring equipment that is clean, working and up to date
N1 covers equipment with little wear or degradation: recent hardware, IT fleets coming off lease, lightly used telecom equipment. The aim is to quickly restore standard working order, without any work on electronic components, while keeping the unit traceability requirement applied to all Sopixcon services.
Process steps
A 5-step protocol
Receipt & visual inspection
Recording the equipment in the traceability system, visual inspection (casing, connectors, general condition) and inspection photographs.
Cleaning
Internal and external dust removal, cleaning of contacts and connectors, surface disinfection to current standards.
Full functional test
Testing on standardised test benches: power supply, connectors, ports, screen/display, basic performance — depending on the type of equipment.
Software update
Updating firmware and software to the latest stable version, and restoring manufacturer settings if needed.
Final quality control & packaging
Final check, test report, traceability labelling and packaging suited to transport.
